Canon arrives this year with its new camera, the Canon PowerShot A410 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced on the North American market on the 22/8/05. The Canon PowerShot A410 was initially targeted at a retail price of 135in the US, considered affordable for such a camera. The PowerShot A410 gets a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Canon PowerShot A410 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 3.2 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the PowerShot A410 is a CCD measuring only 1/3.2 " having a RGB color filter.
Canon added a digital zoom on its PowerShot A410 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The min. shutter speed of the PowerShot A410 is 1 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Canon PowerShot A410 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen available on the PowerShot A410 diagonally measures 1.5 ".
