Canon unveils its new conception, the Canon PowerShot A430 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced on the North American market on the 21/2/06. The Canon PowerShot A430 has been launched at a price of 150in the US, no bad for all this technology. The PowerShot A430 delivers a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Canon PowerShot A430 is set at 4:3, making a total of 4.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the PowerShot A430 is a CCD of dimensions 1/3 " with a RGB color filter.
Canon added a digital zoom on its PowerShot A430 with an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 47 cm. The min. shutter speed of the PowerShot A430 is 1 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Canon PowerShot A430 has an internal storage space of 16 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen of the PowerShot A430 measures 1.8 ".
