Canon PowerShot A460 review
Canon unveils its new model, the Canon PowerShot A460 which is a very special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was shown in the US on the 18/1/07. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The sensor on the PowerShot A460 is a CCD measuring only 1/3 " having a RGB color filter. Canon added a digital zoom on its PowerShot A460 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range is 47 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the PowerShot A460 is 15 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds.
Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Canon PowerShot A460 includes an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/SDHC card. The LCD screen of the PowerShot A460 is measuring 2.0 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
