Canon arrives this year with its new camera, the Canon PowerShot SD200 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented in the US on the 21/9/04. The Canon PowerShot SD200 has been launched at a price of 165in North America, no bad for all this technology. The PowerShot SD200 has for maximum resolution 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Canon PowerShot SD200 is set at 4:3, making a camera of 3.2 mega pixels. The sensor on the PowerShot SD200 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Canon implemented a digital zoom on the PowerShot SD200 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The min. shutter speed of the PowerShot SD200 was set at 15 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1500 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Canon PowerShot SD200 includes an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with SD card. The LCD screen of the PowerShot SD200 diagonally measures 2.0 ". A video out plug exists making it handy to watch pictures on your television.
