Canon PowerShot SD30 review
Canon unveils its new conception, the Canon PowerShot SD30 which is an exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 22/8/05. The Canon PowerShot SD30 was initially targeted at a retail price of 349in North America, a great price for such a camera. The PowerShot SD30 has for maximum resolution 2592 x 1944. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Canon PowerShot SD30 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 5.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the PowerShot SD30 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter.
Canon implemented a digital zoom on the PowerShot SD30 and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the PowerShot SD30 is 15 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1600 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Canon PowerShot SD30 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen of the PowerShot SD30 diagonally measures 1.8 ".
There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported. To conclude, we truly think the Canon PowerShot SD30 is a fantastic camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to buy this wonderful camera.
