Canon PowerShot SD850 IS review
Canon strikes back with its new camera, the Canon PowerShot SD850 IS which is a very exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown in the US on the 07/5/07. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2272 x 1704, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The sensor of the PowerShot SD850 IS is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter. Canon implemented a digital zoom on the PowerShot SD850 IS with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range is 45 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the PowerShot SD850 IS is 15 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1600 seconds.
The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Canon PowerShot SD850 IS camera has an internal storage of 32 mb and can be extended with SD/SDHC/MMC card. The LCD implemented in the PowerShot SD850 IS diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
