Casio Exilim EX-Z120 review
Casio is back with its new model, the Casio Exilim EX-Z120 which is an exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was announced in the US on the 04/8/05. The Casio Exilim EX-Z120 was initially targeted at a retail price of 227in the US, a very interesting deal. The Exilim EX-Z120 offers a maximum resolution of 3072 x 2304. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Casio Exilim EX-Z120 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 7.4 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Exilim EX-Z120 is a CCD which measures 1/1.8 " having a RGB color filter.
Casio added a digital zoom on its Exilim EX-Z120 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Exilim EX-Z120 was set at 1/8 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1600 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Casio Exilim EX-Z120 has an internal memory of 8.7 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card + Internal.
The LCD implemented in the Exilim EX-Z120 is measuring 2.0 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
