Casio Exilim EX-Z500 review
Casio unveils its new camera, the Casio Exilim EX-Z500 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented on the North American market on the 04/8/05. The Casio Exilim EX-Z500 is sold at a price of 248in North America, a great price for such a camera. The Exilim EX-Z500 delivers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It also supports a lower resolution of 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Casio Exilim EX-Z500 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 5.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Exilim EX-Z500 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Casio implemented a digital zoom on the Exilim EX-Z500 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Exilim EX-Z500 was set at n/a seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Casio Exilim EX-Z500 includes an internal memory of 8.7 mb extendable with SD/MMC card + Internal.
The LCD implemented in the Exilim EX-Z500 measures 2.7 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
