Casio Exilim EX-Z700 review
Casio impresses with its new camera, the Casio Exilim EX-Z700 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented on the North American market on the 26/7/06. The Exilim EX-Z700 has for maximum resolution 3072 x 2304. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Casio Exilim EX-Z700 is set at 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 7.1 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Exilim EX-Z700 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Casio added a digital zoom on its Exilim EX-Z700 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Exilim EX-Z700 was set at 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model being a very useful function. The Casio Exilim EX-Z700 has an internal storage space of 8.3 mb extendable by using SD/MMC/SD-HC card + Internal. The LCD screen of the Exilim EX-Z700 is measuring 2.7 ". There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television.
