Casio QV-2400UX review
Casio presents its new conception, the Casio QV-2400UX which is a special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented in the US on the 10/5/01. The Casio QV-2400UX will be sold at a retail price of 700in the US, a great price for such a camera. The QV-2400UX delivers a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 800 x 600. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Casio QV-2400UX is set at 4:3, for a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the QV-2400UX is a CCD which measures only 1/2.7 " having a RGB color filter. Casio included a digital zoom on the QV-2400UX and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 10 cm. The min. shutter speed of the QV-2400UX is 60 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Casio QV-2400UX includes an internal memory of 8 mb extendable with Compact Flash (Type I or II). The LCD screen of the QV-2400UX measures 1.8 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television.
