Epson impresses with its new model, the Epson PhotoPC 3100 Zoom which is a great camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 01/3/01. The Epson PhotoPC 3100 Zoom was initially targeted at a retail price of 900in the United States, a great price for such a camera. This nice camera measures 107 x 88 x 65 mm and has for weight 360 g. The PhotoPC 3100 Zoom offers a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Epson PhotoPC 3100 Zoom has been set at 4:3, for a total of 3.1 mega pixels.
The sensor on the PhotoPC 3100 Zoom is a CCD measuring only 1/1.8 " using a RGB color filter. Epson implemented a digital zoom on the PhotoPC 3100 Zoom and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range is 50 cm.
