Fujifilm arrives this year with its new conception, the Fujifilm FinePix 2400 Zoom which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was shown on the North American market on the 06/9/00. The Fujifilm FinePix 2400 Zoom will be sold at a retail price of 300in the US, a great price for such a camera. This nice little piece of technology measures 125 x 65 x 39 mm and is weighting only 290 g. The FinePix 2400 Zoom has for maximum resolution 1600 x 1200. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Fujifilm FinePix 2400 Zoom is set at 4:3, for a total of 1.9 mega pixels.
The sensor of the FinePix 2400 Zoom is a CCD measuring only 1/2.7 " having a RGB color filter. Fujifilm included a digital zoom on the FinePix 2400 Zoom and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 80 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the FinePix 2400 Zoom was set at 1/2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds.
