Fujifilm unveils its new conception, the Fujifilm FinePix 3800 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown on the North American market on the 01/8/02. The Fujifilm FinePix 3800 was initially targeted at a retail price of 450in the United States, a great deal. This model measures 100 x 77 x 69 mm while it weights only 400 g. The FinePix 3800 gets a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It also supports a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Fujifilm FinePix 3800 is 4:3, for a total of 3.1 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the FinePix 3800 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.7 " with a RGB color filter.
Fujifilm included a digital zoom on the FinePix 3800 and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 80 cm. The min. shutter speed of the FinePix 3800 is 3 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1500 seconds. Movies are supported in this version being a very useful function. The Fujifilm FinePix 3800 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb and can be extended with external storage by using xD Picture Card.
