Fujifilm is back with its new conception, the Fujifilm FinePix A101 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 23/8/01. The Fujifilm FinePix A101 is sold at a price of 180in the United States, a very fair price. This model measures 99 x 65 x 41 mm while it weights only 190 g. The FinePix A101 offers a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960. It also supports a lower resolution of 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Fujifilm FinePix A101 is set at 4:3, making a total of 1.2 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the FinePix A101 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.7 " with a RGB color filter.
Fujifilm added a digital zoom on its FinePix A101 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 80 cm. The min. shutter speed of the FinePix A101 is 1/2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Fujifilm FinePix A101 includes an internal memory of 8 mb extendable with external storage with SmartMedia. The LCD screen available on the FinePix A101 is measuring 1.6 ".
