Fujifilm impresses with its new conception, the Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was announced on the North American market on the 13/7/06. This nice camera measures 131 x 98 x 128 mm and weights 700 g. The FinePix S6500fd gets a maximum resolution of 2848 x 2136. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd has been set at 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 6.1 mega pixels. The sensor on the FinePix S6500fd is a CCD which measures 1/1.7 " having a RGB color filter.
Fujifilm included a digital zoom on the FinePix S6500fd with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 40 cm. The min. shutter speed of the FinePix S6500fd is 30 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/4000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function.
