HP Photosmart 720 review
HP arrives this year with its new camera, the HP Photosmart 720 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown in the US on the 02/7/02. The HP Photosmart 720 was initially targeted at a retail price of 330in North America, a great price for such a camera. This nice camera measures 118 x 75 x 53 mm while it weights only 340 g. The Photosmart 720 offers a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It also supports a lower resolution of 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the HP Photosmart 720 is set at 4:3, making a camera of 3.1 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Photosmart 720 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.8 " and uses a RGB color filter.
HP implemented a digital zoom on the Photosmart 720 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 20 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Photosmart 720 was set at 2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version being a very useful function. The HP Photosmart 720 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable with SD card + Internal.
The LCD implemented in the Photosmart 720 is measuring 1.6 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
