HP Photosmart C618 review
HP strikes back with its new model, the HP Photosmart C618 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown in North America on the 03/2/00. The HP Photosmart C618 has been launched at a price of 600in the US, a very interesting deal. The Photosmart C618 has for maximum resolution 1600 x 1200. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 800 x 600. The image ratio (width / height) on the HP Photosmart C618 is 4:3, making a camera of 1.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Photosmart C618 is a CCD which measures 1/2.7 " with a RGB color filter. HP implemented a digital zoom on the Photosmart C618 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Photosmart C618 was set at 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. The HP Photosmart C618 has an internal memory of 16 mb extendable with external storage with Compact Flash. The LCD screen of the Photosmart C618 diagonally measures 2.0 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
