HP Photosmart M23 review
HP strikes back with its new model, the HP Photosmart M23 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled in the US on the 18/2/05. The HP Photosmart M23 has been launched at a price of 78in the US, a great deal. The Photosmart M23 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2320 x 1744. It also supports a lower resolution of 1600 x 1260, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the HP Photosmart M23 is set at 4:3, making a camera of 4.1 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Photosmart M23 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter.
HP added a digital zoom on its Photosmart M23 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Photosmart M23 was set at 15 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1800 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version being a very useful function. The HP Photosmart M23 has an internal storage space of 16 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Photosmart M23 is measuring 1.5 ". Connection to a computer is available through USB.
