HP impresses with its new model, the HP Photosmart M527 which is a great camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was announced in North America on the 04/1/06. The HP Photosmart M527 will be sold at a retail price of 190in the United States, no bad for all this technology. The Photosmart M527 offers a maximum resolution of 2800 x 2128. It also supports a lower resolution of 2288 x 1712. The ratio of the image on the HP Photosmart M527 is set at 4:3, making a camera of 6.0 mega pixels. The sensor on the Photosmart M527 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter.
HP implemented a digital zoom on the Photosmart M527 with an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Photosmart M527 is 2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model being a very useful function.
