HP Photosmart R607 review
HP arrives this year with its new model, the HP Photosmart R607 which is a very special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled in the US on the 28/8/04. The HP Photosmart R607 was initially targeted at a retail price of 214in the US, a very interesting deal. The Photosmart R607 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2320 x 1744. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the HP Photosmart R607 is set at 4:3, making a camera of 4.1 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Photosmart R607 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.
HP added a digital zoom on its Photosmart R607 and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Photosmart R607 was set at 16 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model being a very useful function. The HP Photosmart R607 includes an internal memory of 32 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD card + Internal.
The LCD screen of the Photosmart R607 is measuring 1.5 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
