HP is back with its new camera, the HP Photosmart R927 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced in North America on the 04/1/06. The HP Photosmart R927 was initially targeted at a retail price of 371in the United States, a very interesting deal. The Photosmart R927 delivers a maximum resolution of 3296 x 2480. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1936. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the HP Photosmart R927 is set at 4:3, making a total of 8.2 mega pixels. The sensor of the Photosmart R927 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.8 " and uses a RGB color filter.
HP included a digital zoom on the Photosmart R927 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Photosmart R927 was set at 16 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The HP Photosmart R927 has an internal memory of 32 mb extendable with external storage with SD card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Photosmart R927 diagonally measures 3.0 ".
