Kodak C875 review
Kodak arrives this year with its new conception, the Kodak C875 which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented in the US on the 08/8/06. The C875 offers a maximum resolution of 3264 x 2448. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2048 x 1536, 1200 x 900. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Kodak C875 is set at 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 8.0 mega pixels. The sensor of the C875 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.8 " and uses a RGB color filter. Kodak implemented a digital zoom on the C875 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 60 cm. The min. shutter speed of the C875 was set at 8 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1600 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Kodak C875 includes an internal memory of 32 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the C875 measures 2.5 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
