Kodak impresses with its new camera, the Kodak DX6490 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was shown in the US on the 19/8/03. The Kodak DX6490 will be sold at a retail price of 471in the United States, a very fair price. The DX6490 delivers a maximum resolution of 2304 x 1728. The ratio of the image on the Kodak DX6490 is 4:3, for a total of 4.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the DX6490 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Kodak included a digital zoom on the DX6490 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 60 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DX6490 is 16 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1700 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Kodak DX6490 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the DX6490 diagonally measures 2.2 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
