Kodak M863 review
Kodak unveils its new camera, the Kodak M863 which is a very exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 08/1/08. It also supports a lower resolution of 3280 x 2186, 3280 x 1846, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1800 x 1200, 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 960. The internal sensor on the M863 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Kodak added a digital zoom on its M863 and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 60 cm.
The min. shutter speed of the M863 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1400 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version being a very useful function. The Kodak M863 has an internal memory of 16 mb extendable with external storage with SD/SDHC/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the M863 is measuring 2.7 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. Connection to a computer is available through USB. To finish, we really believe that the Kodak M863 is a fantastic camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to buy this great camera.
