Kodak M893 IS review
Kodak strikes back with its new model, the Kodak M893 IS which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown in the US on the 08/1/08. It also supports a lower resolution of 3296 x 2196, 3296 x 1854, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1800 x 1200, 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 960. The internal sensor on the M893 IS is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Kodak implemented a digital zoom on the M893 IS with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range is 60 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the M893 IS was set at 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds.
The movie mode is supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Kodak M893 IS has an internal memory of 32 mb extendable with external storage with SD/SDHC/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the M893 IS is measuring 2.7 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
