Kodak Z612 review
Kodak impresses with its new camera, the Kodak Z612 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown in North America on the 17/2/06. The Kodak Z612 will be sold at a retail price of 399in the US, a great price for such a camera. The Z612 has for maximum resolution 2848 x 2144. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2304 x 1728, 2038 x 1536, 1200 x 900. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Kodak Z612 is 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 6.1 mega pixels. The sensor on the Z612 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Kodak implemented a digital zoom on the Z612 and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Z612 is 16 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Kodak Z612 camera has an internal storage of 32 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Z612 diagonally measures 2.5 ".
