Kodak Z730 review
Kodak arrives this year with its new conception, the Kodak Z730 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced on the North American market on the 20/2/05. The Kodak Z730 is sold at a price of 197in North America, a great price for such a camera. The Z730 offers a maximum resolution of 2576 x 1932. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1552 x 1164. The image ratio (width / height) on the Kodak Z730 is set at 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 5.0 mega pixels. The sensor on the Z730 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.
Kodak implemented a digital zoom on the Z730 and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Z730 was set at 64 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Kodak Z730 camera has an internal storage of 32 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Z730 measures 2.2 ".
