Kodak Z8612 IS review
Kodak presents its new model, the Kodak Z8612 IS which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 08/1/08. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 3264 x 2176, 3264 x 1840, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1800 x 1200, 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 960. The lens's sensor of the Z8612 IS is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Kodak added a digital zoom on its Z8612 IS and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 60 cm.
The min. shutter speed of the Z8612 IS is 16 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/3200 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Kodak Z8612 IS has an internal storage space of 21 mb extendable with SD/SDHC/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Z8612 IS diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
