Konica Minolta strikes back with its new camera, the Konica Minolta KD-300 Zoom which is a very exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced on the North American market on the 29/5/01. The Konica Minolta KD-300 Zoom is sold at a price of 700in North America, a great deal. The KD-300 Zoom can be set to a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1024 x 768. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Konica Minolta KD-300 Zoom is set at 4:3, making a camera of 3.1 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the KD-300 Zoom is a CCD having for dimensions 1/1.8 " using a RGB color filter.
Konica Minolta implemented a digital zoom on the KD-300 Zoom with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 90 cm. The min. shutter speed of the KD-300 Zoom is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Konica Minolta KD-300 Zoom includes an internal memory of 16 mb extendable with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen available on the KD-300 Zoom diagonally measures 1.5 ".
