Konica Minolta impresses with its new conception, the Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 15/7/05. The Maxxum 5D offers a maximum resolution of 3008 x 2000. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2256 x 1496, 1504 x 1000. The ratio of the image on the Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D is set at 3:2, making a camera of 6.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Maxxum 5D is a CCD having for dimensions 23.5 x 15.7 mm with a RGB color filter. The minimum shutter speed on the Maxxum 5D was set at 30 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/4000 seconds.
The LCD screen of the Maxxum 5D is measuring 2.5 ". There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
