Konica Minolta launches its new camera, the Konica Minolta DiMAGE X31 which is a very exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was presented on the North American market on the 15/6/04. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE X31 has been launched at a price of 114in North America, no bad for all this technology. This nice camera measures 86 x 67 x 24 mm and has for weight 165 g. The DiMAGE X31 has for maximum resolution 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Konica Minolta DiMAGE X31 is 4:3, making a camera of 3.1 mega pixels.
The internal sensor on the DiMAGE X31 is a CCD which measures only 1/3.2 " and uses a RGB color filter. Konica Minolta implemented a digital zoom on the DiMAGE X31 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 10 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DiMAGE X31 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/500 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model being a very useful function.
