Konica Minolta DiMAGE X50 review
Konica Minolta strikes back with its new camera, the Konica Minolta DiMAGE X50 which is a very exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled in North America on the 07/7/04. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE X50 is sold at a price of 156in North America, considered affordable for such a camera. This nice little piece of technology measures 84 x 62 x 24 mm and weights 155 g. The DiMAGE X50 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Konica Minolta DiMAGE X50 is 4:3, for a total of 4.9 mega pixels.
The internal sensor on the DiMAGE X50 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Konica Minolta included a digital zoom on the DiMAGE X50 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range is 10 cm. The min. shutter speed of the DiMAGE X50 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE X50 includes an internal memory of 16 mb extendable by using SD/MMC card.
The LCD implemented in the DiMAGE X50 measures 2.0 ". A video out plug exists making it handy to watch pictures on your television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported. Briefly, we believe the Konica Minolta DiMAGE X50 makes a very attractive camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this great camera.
