Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 review
Konica Minolta presents its new camera, the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 21/1/05. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 has been launched at a price of 253in North America, a great price for such a camera. The DiMAGE Z20 offers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 has been set at 4:3, for a total of 4.9 mega pixels. The sensor on the DiMAGE Z20 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.
Konica Minolta included a digital zoom on the DiMAGE Z20 and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DiMAGE Z20 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 includes an internal memory of 14.5 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card + Internal.
The LCD implemented in the DiMAGE Z20 is measuring 1.5 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
