Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6 review
Konica Minolta impresses with its new camera, the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced in North America on the 19/8/05. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6 was initially targeted at a retail price of 259in the United States, a very fair price. The DiMAGE Z6 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2272 x 1704, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the DiMAGE Z6 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Konica Minolta included a digital zoom on the DiMAGE Z6 and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 60 cm. The min. shutter speed of the DiMAGE Z6 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6 has an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with SD card.
The LCD screen of the DiMAGE Z6 measures 2.0 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
