Kyocera Finecam S4 review
Kyocera strikes back with its new conception, the Kyocera Finecam S4 which is a great camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown in the US on the 20/2/02. The Kyocera Finecam S4 will be sold at a retail price of 700in the United States, considered affordable for such a camera. The Finecam S4 delivers a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1280 x 960. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Kyocera Finecam S4 is set at 4:3, making a total of 3.9 mega pixels. The sensor on the Finecam S4 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.8 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Kyocera implemented a digital zoom on the Finecam S4 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range is 55 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Finecam S4 was set at 8 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version being a very useful function. The Kyocera Finecam S4 has an internal memory of 16 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen of the Finecam S4 is measuring 1.5 ".
