Kyocera arrives this year with its new model, the Kyocera Finecam S5R which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented in the US on the 08/8/03. The Kyocera Finecam S5R will be sold for 349in the US, a great deal. The Finecam S5R delivers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It also supports a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Kyocera Finecam S5R has been set at 4:3, for a total of 5.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Finecam S5R is a CCD which measures 1/1.8 " with a RGB color filter.
Kyocera included a digital zoom on the Finecam S5R with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 60 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Finecam S5R is 1 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Kyocera Finecam S5R camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable by using SD/MMC card. The LCD screen available on the Finecam S5R diagonally measures 1.6 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television.
