Kyocera arrives this year with its new model, the Kyocera Finecam SL400R which is an exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled in North America on the 14/2/04. The Kyocera Finecam SL400R will be sold at a retail price of 179in the United States, a very fair price. The Finecam SL400R can be set to a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Kyocera Finecam SL400R is set at 4:3, making a camera of 3.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Finecam SL400R is a CCD which measures only 1/2.7 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Kyocera included a digital zoom on the Finecam SL400R with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 60 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Finecam SL400R is 1 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Kyocera Finecam SL400R has an internal storage space of 16 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card.
