Leica Digilux 3 review
Leica is back with its new camera, the Leica Digilux 3 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown on the North American market on the 14/9/06. The Digilux 3 can be set to a maximum resolution of 3136 x 2352. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Leica Digilux 3 is 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, making a total of 7.4 mega pixels. The sensor of the Digilux 3 is a NMOS which measures only 4/3 " and uses a RGB color filter. Leica implemented a digital zoom on the Digilux 3 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The LCD screen of the Digilux 3 diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. USB connectivity to a computer is supported. To summarize, we think the Leica Digilux 3 is a great camera and we recommend our readers to consider this item.
