Leica Digilux 4.3 review
Leica unveils its new camera, the Leica Digilux 4.3 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced in North America on the 01/9/00. The Leica Digilux 4.3 is sold at a price of 800in the United States, a great deal. This model measures 78 x 97.5 x 32.9 mm and weights 280 g. The Digilux 4.3 delivers a maximum resolution of 2400 x 1800. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Leica Digilux 4.3 is set at 4:3, making a camera of 2.4 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Digilux 4.3 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.7 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Leica added a digital zoom on its Digilux 4.3 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 80 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Digilux 4.3 was set at 3 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The Leica Digilux 4.3 has an internal memory of 16 mb extendable by using SmartMedia. The LCD screen available on the Digilux 4.3 diagonally measures 2.0 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
