Nikon Coolpix 2000 review
Nikon presents its new camera, the Nikon Coolpix 2000 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was shown on the North American market on the 29/5/02. This model measures 108 x 69 x 38 mm and is weighting only 295 g. The Coolpix 2000 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1632 x 1224. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Nikon Coolpix 2000 is 4:3, for a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Coolpix 2000 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.7 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Nikon included a digital zoom on the Coolpix 2000 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The min. shutter speed of the Coolpix 2000 was set at 1 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Nikon Coolpix 2000 has an internal memory of 8 mb and can be extended with external storage by using Compact Flash (Type I only). The LCD screen available on the Coolpix 2000 diagonally measures 1.5 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television.
USB connectivity to a computer is supported. Briefly, we believe the Nikon Coolpix 2000 makes a fantastic camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this great camera.
