Nikon Coolpix 2200 review
Nikon is back with its new camera, the Nikon Coolpix 2200 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 08/1/04. This nice little piece of technology measures 88 x 65 x 38 mm and has for weight 190 g. The Coolpix 2200 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Nikon Coolpix 2200 is 4:3, making a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Coolpix 2200 is a CCD which measures 1/3.2 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Nikon implemented a digital zoom on the Coolpix 2200 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 30 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Coolpix 2200 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/3000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model being a very useful function. The Nikon Coolpix 2200 includes an internal memory of 14.5 mb extendable by using SD/MMC card + Internal.
The LCD implemented in the Coolpix 2200 diagonally measures 1.6 ". There is also a video out output available letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
