Nikon launches its new camera, the Nikon Coolpix 4600 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 16/2/05. The Nikon Coolpix 4600 is sold at a price of 132in the United States, a great price for such a camera. The Coolpix 4600 offers a maximum resolution of 2288 x 1716. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Nikon Coolpix 4600 is 4:3, for a total of 3.9 mega pixels. The sensor of the Coolpix 4600 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Nikon added a digital zoom on its Coolpix 4600 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 30 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Coolpix 4600 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/3000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version being a very useful function. The Nikon Coolpix 4600 camera has an internal storage of 14 mb extendable by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen of the Coolpix 4600 is measuring 1.8 ".
