Nikon is back with its new model, the Nikon Coolpix 5600 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled in the US on the 16/2/05. The Nikon Coolpix 5600 has been launched at a price of 212in North America, a great deal. The Coolpix 5600 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Nikon Coolpix 5600 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 5.0 mega pixels. The sensor of the Coolpix 5600 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter.
Nikon included a digital zoom on the Coolpix 5600 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 30 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Coolpix 5600 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/3000 seconds.
