Nikon arrives this year with its new conception, the Nikon Coolpix L1 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 01/9/05. The Nikon Coolpix L1 will be sold at a retail price of 254in the US, a very fair price. This nice camera measures 90 x 61 x 47 mm and has for weight 195 g. The Coolpix L1 delivers a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Nikon Coolpix L1 is 4:3, making a camera of 6.2 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Coolpix L1 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.
Nikon added a digital zoom on its Coolpix L1 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. Movies are supported in this model being a very useful function. The Nikon Coolpix L1 camera has an internal storage of 10 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Coolpix L1 diagonally measures 2.5 ". Connection to a computer is available through USB.
