Nikon unveils its new model, the Nikon Coolpix L3 which is an exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented on the North American market on the 21/2/06. The Nikon Coolpix L3 is sold at a price of 178in North America, a very interesting deal. This nice little piece of technology measures 91 x 61 x 26 mm and weights 170 g. The Coolpix L3 has for maximum resolution 2592 x 1944. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Nikon Coolpix L3 has been set at 4:3, for a total of 5.0 mega pixels.
The lens's sensor of the Coolpix L3 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.
