Nikon Coolpix L4 review
Nikon strikes back with its new camera, the Nikon Coolpix L4 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled in the US on the 21/2/06. The Nikon Coolpix L4 was initially targeted at a retail price of 132in North America, a great price for such a camera. This nice little piece of technology measures 87 x 61 x 35 mm while weights 165 g. The Coolpix L4 gets a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Nikon Coolpix L4 is 4:3, making a camera of 3.9 mega pixels.
The sensor on the Coolpix L4 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Nikon added a digital zoom on its Coolpix L4 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 30 cm. Movie clips are also supported in this version being a very useful function. The Nikon Coolpix L4 includes an internal memory of 10 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Coolpix L4 diagonally measures 2.0 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
