Nikon Coolpix L5 review
Nikon unveils its new model, the Nikon Coolpix L5 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented in North America on the 24/8/06. This model measures 97 x 61 x 45 mm and weights 210 g. The Coolpix L5 can be set to a maximum resolution of 3072 x 2304. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Nikon Coolpix L5 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 7.1 mega pixels. The sensor on the Coolpix L5 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter. Nikon included a digital zoom on the Coolpix L5 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras .
The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Coolpix L5 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Nikon Coolpix L5 has an internal memory of 8 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Coolpix L5 diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
