Nikon Coolpix L6 review
Nikon arrives this year with its new conception, the Nikon Coolpix L6 which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown on the North American market on the 24/8/06. This nice little piece of technology measures 91 x 61 x 26 mm and has for weight 175 g. The Coolpix L6 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Nikon Coolpix L6 is 4:3, making a camera of 6.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Coolpix L6 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Nikon added a digital zoom on its Coolpix L6 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 30 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Coolpix L6 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1500 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Nikon Coolpix L6 includes an internal memory of 23 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card + Internal.
The LCD implemented in the Coolpix L6 measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer. To finish, we really believe that the Nikon Coolpix L6 makes a very attractive camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to buy this wonderful camera.
