Nikon strikes back with its new model, the Nikon Coolpix S50c which is a great camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented on the North American market on the 20/2/07. The Nikon Coolpix S50c will be sold for 349in North America, a great deal. This model measures 88 x 51 x 22 mm and is weighting only 165 g. It also supports a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The sensor of the Coolpix S50c is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Nikon included a digital zoom on the Coolpix S50c and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 30 cm. The movie mode is supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Nikon Coolpix S50c includes an internal memory of 13 mb and can be extended with SD/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD screen of the Coolpix S50c measures 3.0 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
