Nikon Coolpix S600 review
Nikon launches its new conception, the Nikon Coolpix S600 which is an exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced in North America on the 29/1/08. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 3072 x 2304, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The lens's sensor of the Coolpix S600 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.33 " using a RGB color filter. Nikon implemented a digital zoom on the Coolpix S600 and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm.
The minimum shutter speed on the Coolpix S600 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1500 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version being a very useful function. The Nikon Coolpix S600 has an internal memory of 45 mb extendable with SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Coolpix S600 is measuring 2.7 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
